Bee Cave Women's Bible Studies

COME BE A PART OF A LIFE-GIVING COMMUNITY CENTERED ON GOD’S WORD

Whether you are new to studying the Bible, stuck in a dry season, or you have been in Bible study for years, you have come to the right place! We believe studying and reading the Bible is life-changing for everyone in every season.

Studies are ongoing and can be joined at any time. No previous Bible study experience is needed to participate.

Childcare is available for all Tuesday and Wednesday morning studies and the Thursday MOMS group.

Tuesdays

Reading through God’s Story Chronologically

When: Tuesdays, beginning 01.09 | 9:30-11:30am

Where: Bee Cave Bldg A

Join us for a deep examination of God’s story (the Bible): In the fall, we started with Joshua and will continue in the spring to the end of King Solomon’s reign in 1 Kings. Your Scripture reading each week will be followed by open discussions that will foster new understanding and close relationships. Learn how a study of the Old Testament points the way to Jesus. Childcare is available.

Abide: A Study of 1, 2, 3 John by Jen Wilkin

When: Tuesdays, beginning 01.09 | 6:30-8:30pm

Where: Bee Cave Bldg C

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. Small group discussion and video teaching.

Wednesdays

Chosen: A Study of Ephesians by Daily Grace | The Walk on Wednesday

When: Wednesdays, beginning 01.10 | 9:30-11:30am

Where: Bee Cave Bldg A

Join us as we walk through the book of Ephesians to discover who we are in Christ and how we should live. It is in Christ alone that we find grace and peace. We are his chosen people, set apart to love and serve him. It is in him that we find everything that we need because he is our everything. Small group discussion and live teaching from our Ridge Women Teaching Team. Childcare is available.

Every Word: A Reader’s 90-Day Guide to the Bible

When: Wednesdays, beginning 01.10 | 9:30-11:00am

Where: Bee Cave Bldg C

Does reading the Bible cover to cover seem overwhelming? Do you hold deep convictions based on the Bible, but you’ve never read all of it? The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is a beautiful, epic, and cohesive story. Knowing its story changes yours. We’ll read EVERY WORD of the Bible together in 90 days. Simply put, this is a life changing experience! Daily Bible reading, live teaching, and guided group discussion. Childcare is available.

John | A Precept Study

When: Wednesdays, beginning 01.10 | 9:30-11:30am

Where: Bee Cave Bldg A

How well do you know the Son of God? Are you convinced that what He said about Himself is true? From beginning to end, John reveals Jesus as the Son of God. Weekly homework (including a session on “how to study the Bible” for first-timers), group discussion, and teaching. Childcare is available.

Remember Your Joy by Courtney Doctor + Melissa Kruger | Kinswomen: A 20s + Early 30s Study

When: Wednesdays, beginning 01.10 | 7-8:30pm

Where: Bee Cave Worship Center

This study traces seven Old Testament stories. Each chapter gives us a glimpse, a foreshadowing, of the greater salvation Jesus wins. In each encounter, we'll see how God faithfully fulfilled His promise, and our hope is that you will remember the joy of your salvation – and praise the One who accomplished it! Small group discussion and video teaching.

Thursdays

John, Part 2 | A Precept Study

When: Thursdays, beginning 01.11 | 6:30-8:30pm

Where: Bee Cave Bldg A

Jesus is the True Vine, and He draws His disciples aside to prepare them for what is to come. In chapters 12-21, learn about His death, burial, and resurrection, and their significance to your salvation. Weekly homework (including a session on “how to study the Bible” for first-timers), group discussion, and teaching.

    Carrie Runn

    Carrie is a native Texan, a proud Texas Longhorn, and a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Her passion is making theology practical and God’s Word accessible. She is married to Gary, and they have two adult children, Courtney and Davis. She has served in campus ministry and as a missionary in Italy. Carrie appreciates a good sense of humor, a good book, and good conversations with friends over coffee. As the Women’s Ministry Director, it is her privilege to shepherd women toward maturity in Christ and help them make a spiritual difference.
