Understanding God's Purpose for your Profession

Whatever your current workplace is or wherever you find yourself in your career, God has a purpose behind your profession.

Transforming Our Work is a community of believers exploring God’s desire to form us and impact the world through our work. If you are wrestling with bridging the gap between services on Sunday and the workplace on Monday, this is the spot for you!

Join us for seven sessions over three months as we seek to transform the way we see our work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our goal is to create a network of believers in the workplace who challenge and encourage one another to better reflect God’s heart for their work.

Transforming Our Work is designed to be accessible to anyone who is in the workplace. If you have a job, or are seeking employment and want to unpack God’s intention for the workplace, this environment is for you!

Yes, registration is $80 for the program, and a light dinner is included at each session. All costs go directly to cover food and printed materials.

We never want finances to inhibit someone from participating; limited scholarships are available upon request.

Participants should expect to attend seven in-person sessions, along with seven separate touch points with your small group. Each group will have flexibility on the how/where of their touch point.

There will be ongoing reflection and brief assignments to apply material from teaching session in the context of your workplace.

Recommended books and articles may be shared along the way, but no books are required for the program.

You can expect time to connect over dinner within your group; teaching sessions from industry leaders, authors, and experts; and stories from real people applying these truths in their work environment.

We will have 6-8 participants in each group, who will sit together for each session.

All participants in a group will have a similar role in the workplace – one of four role types:

1. Business Owner/Key Decision Maker
2. Solo-Preneur
3. Team Leader (manager, director, etc.)
4. Individual Contributor (software programmer, nurse, teacher, etc.)

Inviting friends is encouraged! Please keep in mind that they may need to be placed at another table if their workplace role is not similar to your own.

Additionally, this program is designed for someone who is currently following Jesus, or, at a minimum, wants to start following Him more fully.

We expect all seats to fill for this program; space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may still sign up if space is available after the first session, but late registration is not ideal. The first session will set most of the framework for our time together.
