This class is for anyone who wants to know more about the basics of our faith. Things like: who is Jesus? Why did He have to die? What is the Bible? How and why should I read it?
You will leave the class with practical tools to help you know, grow, and serve Jesus.

Joey is our staff’s proud Marylander. He spent his childhood playing hockey and baseball and acting on stage. He’s pretty vocal about where he’s from, the food he likes and dislikes, and his general fear of small animals. He’s been in full-time ministry since 2008 and has a Bachelor of Arts in Bible & Theology, a Master of Arts in Leadership, and a Master of Divinity. More importantly, Joey is the husband to his High School sweetheart, Stephanie, and a dad to Selah, Josiah, Judah, and Jacoby. Joey serves as the Pastor of Ministries at Austin Ridge. His role is to oversee EQUIP (our classroom environment), host the EQUIP Roundtable podcast, lead our adult ministry team, and take on “other duties as assigned.”
