International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global, faith-based organization with the mission to protect people in poverty from violence through proven solutions. IJM focuses on rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts.

The organization works through a foundation of prayer and spirit-filled strategic interventions and partners with local justice officials, community partners and advocates, people like you and churches like Austin Ridge.

The Austin Ridge/IJM Partnership

Ridge Missions partners with IJM to specifically support the field offices in Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines. More specifically in Thailand and Cambodia, we are battling forced-labor slavery tied to the fishing industry and other low-skill industries; and in the Philippines, online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC). We are providing both financial and a regular rhythm of focused prayer support.

How Does IJM Fight Slavery?

Headquartered in Washington, DC, IJM works through its 24 offices in 14 countries and is expanding. Offices are staffed with Christian professionals to:

• Rescue and restore victims
• Bring criminals to justice
• Strengthen justice systems

While most of us will never serve directly in a field office, we still have a key role to play in the success of stopping modern-day slavery - prayer. Prayer is a foundational tenet of IJM and every field office and DC headquarters stops daily to pray corporately. Prayer is the foundation of the work in which Jesus is continually calling us to join. Our prayers for survivors, caretakers, police/government officials, and IJM staff are strategic in making justice for the vulnerable unstoppable.
