Ridge Women

We are women who reflect Jesus in our homes, workplaces, city, and the world

At the Ridge, we want to help all women know Jesus in a personal way, to grow in relationship with Him, and to make a spiritual difference in the lives of others. We believe this happens best when women are part of a community centered on God’s Word.

All of the opportunities we offer are thoughtfully and prayerfully created to help every woman become like Jesus and join with Him in His mission.

Women's Bible Studies

Our desire is for every woman at the Ridge to be in God’s Word. We believe reading and studying the Bible is life-changing for everyone in every season.

Many Bible studies are ongoing and can be joined at any time. Explore current studies for your preferred campus and register today.

Disciplemaking Groups

Disciplemaking groups are small (4-6 people), same-gender groups that meet weekly for 9-12 months working through a curriculum designed by the Ridge around our beliefs of who a disciple is and what a disciple does.

D-Groups were created and designed specifically to make disciples who can make disciples. By learning to study the Bible for yourself, think theologically, develop spiritual disciplines, and articulate all of that in your own words, you will gain tools to not only lead and equip others, but to more faithfully move towards Jesus for the rest of your life!

Ready to join or lead a D-group? Fill out the form for your campus and our team will be in touch soon!

  • Carrie Runn

    Carrie Runn

Carrie is a native Texan, a proud Texas Longhorn, and a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Her passion is making theology practical and God’s Word accessible. She is married to Gary, and they have two adult children, Courtney and Davis. She has served in campus ministry and as a missionary in Italy. Carrie appreciates a good sense of humor, a good book, and good conversations with friends over coffee. As the Women’s Ministry Director, it is her privilege to shepherd women toward maturity in Christ and help them make a spiritual difference.

  • Carson Martindale

    Carson Martindale

Carson is a native Austinite and has been attending Austin Ridge with her family since 2009. She is a proud grad of Auburn University (War Eagle!), where she studied Global Studies and was instilled with a deep passion for what the Lord is doing to reach His people on a global scale.

When not at the church, you can find Carson trying new restaurants, traveling, spending time with friends, or curled up with a cup of coffee and a book. She is humbled and excited to be used by the Lord at the Ridge!

  • Ginger Armstrong

    Ginger Armstrong

A native Texan, Ginger lived all over the Lone Star State before moving to Kansas City for a job and meeting her late husband, Mark. They later landed in South Florida and entered a spiritually transformative season. Although Ginger grew up knowing about Jesus, it was during this time she began to follow and really know Him. From there, a passion was born, and she now helps women truly grasp who they are in Christ and equips them for the work God has prepared for them.

She is humbled to be a mom to three of the most amazing humans and Gigi to five of the grandest kids. She now calls SW Austin home, along with her youngest daughter Lane, and six (yes, six) dogs that are equal parts wonderful and wild. Drawing from her unexpected life experiences, Ginger encourages women to believe their best days lie ahead and trust that God is not finished with them yet. If you are a woman on the Southwest campus, she wants to connect with you!

  • Holly Dvorak

    Holly Dvorak

Originally from Virginia and more recently a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, Holly and Todd relocated to Austin in 2018. God’s perfect timing led them to Texas just as the youngest of their three sons graduated from college. Now that their boys live all over the United States, their favorite pastime is planning great trips and adventures where they can reconnect as a family and enjoy the amazing scenery and handiwork of God. On a more personal note, Holly's passion for all things "organization" has been a blessing to the many homes and families she has served over the years as a family manager coach. Now, God is using those gifts and talents at the Dripping Springs campus.

  • Laura Benton

    Laura Benton

Laura was born and raised in the sunny state of CALIFORNIA!!! She grew up in Southern California, where she enjoyed her summers at the beach, and then moved to Northern California, where she attended college at San Jose State. She earned her degree in Child and Adolescent Development with a minor in Mathematics, but let’s be honest; she mostly went to school to play water polo. Laura, her husband, Dan, and her three girls, Cassidy, Libby, and Emily, made the trek out to Austin in August 2018. It is Laura’s great joy to have fun serving people, which is what she is doing as a ministry assistant for Embrace and Women's Ministries. While she may never get used to the weather in Texas, Laura still enjoys playing water polo, being silly with her kids, and finding any reason to go on an adventure!
